This plan outlines Quartz Co.’s strategy to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility over the next five years.

2. Customer Service

Actions:

  • Provide AODA customer service training to all staff

  • Maintain accessible communication options

  • Implement a process for temporary disruption notices

3. Information & Communications

Actions:

  • Ensure website content meets WCAG 2.0 Level A/AA

  • Provide accessible formats upon request

  • Improve clarity of installation instructions and service documents

Timeline: 2026–2029

Status: Planned

4. Employment

Actions:

  • Add accommodation statements to job postings

  • Provide accessible recruitment and interview processes

  • Develop individualized accommodation plans

  • Provide training to managers on accessibility obligations

5. Workplace Accessibility

Actions:

  • Improve signage in shop and office

  • Ensure accessible pathways in fabrication and installation areas

  • Review emergency procedures for accessibility

6. Training

  • Deliver AODA + Human Rights Code training to all staff

  • Maintain training records

  • Provide refresher training every 3 years
